The Ultrasound Department of Guang'anmen Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, was established in 1980. It currently has 7 staff members, including 2 deputy chief physicians, 1 attending physician, 2 supervisory technicians, and 2 resident physicians.

The Ultrasound Department currently has advanced ultrasonic examination instruments: HP-5500, TOSHIBA6000, Aloca5000, Siemens, Premier, Parkson bedside color ultrasound and Aloca 900 bedside ultrasound apparatus, and 2 cerebrovascular ultrasonic examination machines, which are responsible for ultrasonic examination, scientific research, and teaching tasks in wards and outpatient clinics.

Features:

Ultrasound examinations of the heart, abdomen, obstetrics and gynecology, thyroid, breast, urinary system, superficial tissue and cerebrovascular diseases are currently carried out, especially for prostate and anorectal diseases.

Gynecological diseases are diagnosed through intracavitary ultrasound, which improves the accuracy of diagnosis.

At the same time, the department cooperates with clinical practice to carry out interventional ultrasound examination and treatment.

Scientific research results

1. The achievements that have been achieved mainly include the study of color Doppler on hypertension, the diagnostic value of color Doppler on liver space-occupying lesions, the observation of the efficacy of B-ultrasound on traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of fatty liver, the diagnostic value of color Doppler and B-ultrasound on portal vein tumor thrombus, the observation of the impact of transcranial Doppler on cerebral blood flow before and after acupuncture, the observation of the efficacy of B-ultrasound on the treatment of prostatic hyperplasia with traditional Chinese medicine in cooperation with the Department of Urology, etc. He has won multiple hospital achievement awards and hospital, city and national outstanding paper awards.

2. The current scientific research projects mainly include the observation of the ultrasonic manifestations of psoriasis treated with traditional Chinese medicine and the observation of the efficacy of breast hyperplasia.
