The Department of Stomatology, Guang'anmen Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, was founded in 1977. Over the past 40 years, the Department of Stomatology has continued to grow and develop in the fields of medical care, scientific research, and teaching. It has a professional talent team with 15 current staff, including specialists who graduated from key Western medicine schools and professionals with integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine who graduated from traditional Chinese medicine universities. Among them, 5 have senior professional titles and 3 have master's and doctoral degrees.

The Department of Stomatology has been moved to the 8th floor of the new outpatient building. The equipment and facilities have been completely renovated, the diagnosis and treatment environment has been greatly improved, and advanced specialist equipment has been added. Currently, there are 14 dental comprehensive treatment chairs imported from Germany and Italy, oral CT machines, digital full-mouth curved tomography machines, intraoral digital X-line dental radiographs, imported oral laser treatment equipment, etc.

The dental clinic consists of a general oral clinic and an oral mucosal disease clinic. The numbers are divided into: dental expert number, oral general number, and oral mucosal disease special number.

The comprehensive dental clinic includes routine diagnosis and treatment of oral medicine, oral surgery, prosthodontics, and orthodontics. It can perform dental fillings, treatment, extraction, dentures, orthodontics and other oral operations.

The Oral Mucosal Disease Clinic can treat various chronic and recurring oral mucosal diseases, such as recurrent oral ulcers, oral lichen planus, etc. It combines disease identification with syndrome differentiation, provides systemic conditioning, and reduces recurrence. It gives full play to the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in treating mucosal diseases and highlights the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine.
