Endocrinology Department

The Department of Endocrinology at Guangzhou Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, established in 1976, through five generations of continuous efforts, has developed into a focused medical, research, education and care unit, with national acclaim in the field of endocrinology, endocrinology, national regional clinical center (ENC) building units, and a national clinical research base for diabetes in China. The department is responsible for the Chinese Inner Medical Science Innovation Team at China's Institute of Medical Sciences, Beijing City Medical Administration1+X+N injecting specialties, the Chinese Medical Association and the Union for Development of Injecting Specialties, the Chinese Diabetes Management Office and the Beijing City Medical Practice Training Group. The Department of Internal Medicine has several nationally renowned Chinese endocrinologists and younger Chinese endocrinologists represented by distinguished representatives, including Professor Lin Lan, a former Chinese physician, and Professor Xi Xiaolin, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
