The Comprehensive Department of Guang'anmen Hospital of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences is positioned to provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of common multi-system diseases in the elderly. It currently has 21 doctors, including 5 well-known experts, 3 chief physicians, 6 deputy chief physicians, and 6 attending and resident physicians.

The annual outpatient volume of the comprehensive department is 100,000.

It mainly focuses on common and frequently-occurring diseases in internal medicine, especially in the multi-disciplinary comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of hypertension, coronary heart disease, heart failure, arrhythmia, stroke and other cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, as well as diabetes, etc. The characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine are obvious and the curative effect is satisfactory;

He is also experienced in the differential diagnosis and treatment of chronic fatigue syndrome, digestive system diseases, menopausal syndrome, etc.

The department has three special outpatient clinics: hypertension, dizziness, and arteriosclerosis, providing patients with high-quality medical services that coordinate comprehensive medical care and specialized medical care.

The comprehensive ward treats more than 700 patients every year.

Over the years, we have accumulated rich experience in the diagnosis and treatment of multi-organ and multi-system diseases in the elderly, highlighting the unique advantages of comprehensive traditional Chinese medicine and achieving better results. We have also accumulated rich experience in the treatment of elderly critically ill patients, and have passed the review of Beijing's "Age-Friendly Hospital".

The scientific research and teaching work of the comprehensive department are all carried out clinically.
