Laboratory Center

The clinical testing center of the Beijing-based Capital Medical University's Wuhan Hospital, adhering to the cultural heritage of Wuhan, adhering to the working concept of truthfulness, dedication, excellence and innovation, implementing the principles of safety first, law first, quality standards for the world, and laboratory diagnostics around prevention, treatment, care and wellness, has formed a series of laboratories. The work has been consistently innovative in terms of specific diagnostic systems, quality of testing, medical service capacity, level of teaching and research, regional radiation capability, and other areas. The clinical center is an ISO15189 quality assurance laboratory, currently conducting nearly 500 clinical testing projects covering clinical chemistry, hematology, immunology, microbiology, molecular diagnostic testing, feature diagnostics including viral hepatitis diagnosis, tumor marker screening, autoimmune liver disease diagnosis, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) diagnosis, and confirmation of the disease. The original microbial diagnosis, immune function evaluation, new-onset infectious disease testing, blood transfusion testing, etc., is the seventh HIV-positive laboratory in Beijing, and the first in the country to demonstrate an autoimmune hepatitis.
