Nutrition Department

The Department of Nutrition at Beijing Yuang Hospital, affiliated to the Capital Medical University, is one of the earliest established in China. Initially, the department provided mainly hospital nutrition for hospitalized patients, but in recent years has become a more complete hospital nutrition discipline with software and hardware, through extensive study and absorption of advanced professional theory and technology from both domestic and foreign countries, bringing in skilled talent, increasingly enriching specialization. The range of clinical treatments includes a variety of liver diseases, metabolic diseases and special population nutrition, especially in depth research on various types of hepatitis, hepatitis, hepatic sclerosis, liver failure, fatty liver. The Department of Nutrition is primarily responsible for the work of nutrition board diagnosis, nutrition consultation, nutrition counseling, and mass nutrition health cop propaganda, nutrition research, regulation of nutrition diet, and so on. Nutrition has initially formed nutritional evaluation, nutritional intervention, nutritional follow-up services for outpatients and hospitalized patients, aimed at improving the nutritional status of patients with various diseases, slowing disease progression, assisting early recovery.
