Hepatology Center

The Center for Infectious Hepatitis and Artificial Liver at the Beijing Yuang Hospital, affiliated with the Capital Medical University, is a comprehensive integrated medical, research, teaching, training, international exchange and cooperation center for clinical treatment and technical services that are central to the development of infectious liver disease, liver failure, and liver fusion diseases. Professor Zhang Zhongping, founder of the department, is a renowned Chinese clinical expert on suspected serious liver disease and artificial liver, former director-general of the Chinese Medical Association's Division of Hepatology, chairman of the Joint Committee on Genetic Metabolic Liver Diseases of the Chinese Medical Association's Division of Hepatology. The Chinese Medical Association's Hepatology Branch Member, Deputy Secretary-General, Deputy Chairman of the Group on Heavy Liver and Artificial Liver, Deputy Chairman of the End-Term Hepatology and Nutrition Regeneration Group.Under the leadership of Professor Zhang Ping, Chen, the center successfully hosted the first to tenth National Conference on Doubts and Serious Hepatitis, several times hosting a national workshop on new clinical techniques for artificial liver.
