Pediatric Department

The Children's Oral Division of Beijing Oral Hospital, affiliated with the Capital Medical University, was established in the 1970s, is a specialized department for children with oral diseases aged 0-14 years old that has been set up independently earlier in the country, with 29 existing doctors, 24 nurses, 13 senior medical practitioners, 9 middle-level practitioners. Nearly 40 dental integrated therapy chairs, equipped with specialized equipment such as dental microscopes, intron microscopes, laser therapists, are used daily to diagnose common diseases of the mammary and younger teeth, multiple cases, receive regional diagnostic and referral clinics, are the first in the country to develop child comfort (calming and total anesthesia) oral clinical practice. The Department of Oral Medicine (DOM) is responsible for teaching the theory and clinical teaching of pediatric oral medicine at multiple levels of the University of Medicine, which is the awarding point for MS and PhDs in the School of Oral Medicine at Capital Medical University.
