Dental Department

The Department of Dentistry at the Beijing Oral Hospital, affiliated with the Capital Medical University, is a specialized department that integrates clinical, teaching and research into its main activities. It primarily conducts systemic treatment for acute and chronic tooth inflammation, tooth decay and various types of tooth inflammation. Based on a thorough dental foundation, performing various dental procedures, including tooth extraction, dental reconstruction, dental crown extension and dental tissue regeneration, will help patients solve dental problems. With the development of basic research and the application of new technologies, dentistry has adopted a variety of new clinical techniques and opened up specialty outpatient clinics: using ultrasound and dental treatment, alleviating pain and shortening the course of dental therapy; choosing high-intensity adhesive resin or high-bulb fiber to perform dental braces, improving patient function; enhancing patient aesthetics, developing dental implants. At the same time, we have recently introduced international advanced instruments such as laser toothbrushes, dental microscopes and others, opening new avenues for treatment of tooth disease.
