Pathology Department

The Department of Pathology at Beijing Morning Hospital, affiliated with the Capital Medical University, was founded in 1958.In 2007, it became a national master's degree accreditation department;In 2011, it became a standardized training base for Beijing City Hospital physicians;In 2013, it became a national doctorate accreditation institution. It has now become one of the country's three-tier A hospitals, with clinical clinical research and teaching at the heart of medical education. After decades of development and accumulation, combined with advanced experience abroad, especially in Japan, Europe and the United States, it has gradually formed its own unique database of pathological resources, established an excellent quality management system, including respiratory systems, digestive systems, urine, male and female reproductive systems, and various types of sampling, diagnosis and identification diagnostic standards. The strict diagnostic system of doctor review, regular continuing education, a third-tier medical diagnosis system, the first-degree responsibility system and various quality assurance systems combined with a comprehensive discussion board diagnostics system for suspected cases. The pathology focuses on laboratory quality control, through the years it has successfully passed several in-room quality controls such as national PQCC breast cancer, stomach cancer HER2 testing and EGFR, KRAS molecular testing.
