Gynecology Department

The Beijing Morning Hospital obstetrics unit of the Capital Medical University was formed in 1958, integrates medical, teaching and research, fully conducts gynecological, obstetric and reproductive clinical work. After many efforts, it has become a training base for Department of Health's type IV gynecologic internal medicine technology, a center for critical pregnancy treatment in Beijing City and the Yangtze area, and a training base for Ministry of Health gynecologists. Gender open beds 152 and health care staff nearly 200; 3 PhD students, 3 graduate students, 3 professors, 5 associate professors, 13 physicians, 12 assistant doctors, more than 30 people with doctoral or master's degrees in clinical and academic sciences. Gynaecological clinics have been performed more than 150,000 times a year, medical procedures have been performed more than 8,000 times a year, gynecological operations have been performed more than 3,000 times a year, and major surgery has been performed more than 2,000 times a year. The areas of specialization include gynecology, endometrial isotope and chronic pelvic pain, basal function disorders (including pelvic organ detachment and urinary incontinence), cervical specialty (including severe cervical ligamentation, uterine peritoneum, sub-membrane myeloma, etc.), cervical disease, high-risk obstetrics, general obstetrics, prenatal diagnosis, planning for childbirth, etc.
