Urology Department

In the year of 1958, when the hospital was established, in 1997, the Institute of Urology at the Capital Medical University was founded as a unit of urology and became the head of the Department of Urological Surgery at the Capital Medical University.In 1998, the department was designated as a priority department of the Beijing City Health System.By 2023, with the enablement of the regular clinic area, the number of urologic beds increased to 151 in terms of size and talent levels.Currently, the department of urology is divided into eight sub-specialties, more than ten main clinics, has a national division of full specialization in urology, including transplantation, dialysis and machine tumor treatment, microplating, radiation therapy, urinary disorders, urology, and other aspects of the health care system.
