Cardiac Surgery Department

The heart surgery unit of the Beijing Morning Hospital, affiliated to the Capital Medical University, was founded in 1993, is one of the earliest centers for cardiac surgery in the country, has now become a more comprehensive and specialized medical research unit integrated into the teaching and practice of medicine, is the teaching base of the Capital Medical University, doctoral, master's degree training center, the cardiovascular laboratory of the Capital Medical University. Over 8,000 cardiac surgeries have been completed cumulatively under the leadership of the Soviet Union, currently over 700 are completed annually, with a number of them at the leading national level.
