The Department of Infection and Clinical Microbiology, affiliated to Beijing Morning Hospital, Capital Medical University, was formally established in 2006, achieving the development of a combined clinical infectious disease and microbial testing package. There are 17 doctors, 12 clinical microbial examiners. Of these, 3 postdoctoral fellows, 10 PhDs, 6 MSFs. The department is sponsored by the National Health Commission.
