Rheumatology and Immunology Department

Established in 1998, the department has been established for more than two decades, from its earliest formations of one table, two people, five beds to a gradual growth and development. In October 1998, in order to consolidate the professional direction of Nekoya, the hospital sent Li Mingjia to the Hospital for Refective Immunology after the improvement of the REMI Department at the Cooperative Hospital to open a remean immunity department; in January 1999, the hospital established a remean immunity ward, and was the third hospital in Beijing City Hospital to establish an remean immunity ward. In August 2003, from the Naval General Hospital to the Taiyang Hospital, the Department of Rheumatic Immunology began a new phase of development. In 2005, the first postgraduate training site for internal sciences (Rhemp) specialists at the Capital Medical University was approved; in the following year, the National Food and Drug Administration approved the clinical pharmaceutical laboratory base and the sub-specialist training base of the National Health Ministry; In 2009, the first postgraduate degree award in internal science (physical rheumatology) was approved.
