Cardiac pacing and cardiac electrophysiology: The Heart Center of Beijing Chaoyang Hospital launched catheter radiofrequency ablation for the treatment of arrhythmias in China in 1993. It served as the overseas training base for the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology, trained hundreds of clinical electrophysiologists across the country, and made great contributions to the popularization of catheter radiofrequency ablation for supraventricular tachycardia, atrial tachycardia, atrial flutter and idiopathic ventricular tachycardia in China.

Hypertension specialty: The Heart Center established a specialized hypertension clinic in 2007, and later established a hypertension ward. It has initially established a systematic research platform for basic, clinical and epidemiological research on hypertension, strengthened the ability to identify secondary hypertension, and carried out tests including plasma renin, aldosterone, catecholamines, angiography examinations of renal artery stenosis, and adrenal contrast-enhanced CT scans to improve the detection rate of primary aldosteronism, pheochromocytoma, renal artery stenosis and other diseases.

Introduction to Changying:

The Heart Center of the Changying Campus of Beijing Chaoyang Hospital was founded in 2023. It is a new campus of a new tertiary hospital. The cardiac surgery department has opened general outpatient clinics.
