Imaging Department

The Department of Radiology, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine (OEM) is affiliated with the Beijing Medical University, with a significant advantage in the areas of radiation imaging, ultrasound and nuclear medicine. Ultrasound uses ultrasound instruments to perform appropriate examinations and diagnoses on patients, to demonstrate the microstructure of kidney tissue, to evaluate kidney function, to show the direction, nature and duration of heart and blood flow, various ultrasound-guided piercings, live tests, and drug treatments. Nuclear medicine uses nuclear medical technology to diagnose and treat diseases, routine screening programs include bone marrow, PET-CT, thyroid imaging, etc. In addition, the medical department can also perform corresponding treatments, including radioactive particles that cannot be inserted into tumor tissue, which can kill tumour cells, and cancer treatment such as certain types of surgery for thyroid cancer.
