The Department of Ultrasound at Beijing Medical University, affiliated to the Capital University, was established in the 1970s, after generations of hard work, and has now developed into a high-quality department with its main focus on ultrasound diagnosis and intervention therapy. In 2017, the department was awarded the Chinese Association of Physicians and the Chinese Association of Physicians' Division of Ultrasound Training Base for Thyroid Transplantation.
