Nutrition Department

The Department of Nutrition at Beijing Gen-Ren Hospital, affiliated to the Capital Medical University, became an independent clinical medical department in 2018, is a deputy director general committee unit of the Clinical Nutrition Division of the Chinese Academy of Nutrition, with larger staff, 15 current faculty members, including 1 doctoral student, 6 masters, 8 undergraduates; covers civil service senior 1, civil service middle class 1, civil service junior 3 persons; Six middle-level technicians, three technicians; one in the medical field and one as deputy director of medicine.All have the Chinese Academy of Nutrition registered as nutritionists, seven with the capital's high school teaching qualification, three as recruitment lecturers at the Capital Medical University, who taught for many years at the Capital Medical University and the Beijing City Health Professions College. Clinical nutrition is a specialty of clinical medicine that deals with the mechanisms of nutritional factors in disease onset and development, the relationship between nutrition and body resistance, and the role of nutrition in prevention, treatment, recovery and health care.
