Division

The Department of Disease Prevention, formerly known as the Department of Health and Prevention, was established in 1958 and renamed the Department of Disease Prevention and Control in June 2021. After more than 60 years of struggling and thriving, the current department currently has a staff of 19, 3 full-time, 5 part-time, 6 middle-level, 2 junior high, 2 administrative, 1 sterile; 11 of them have a master's degree (including one in doctoral studies), specializing in clinical medicine, nursing, pharmacy, preventive medicine. In 2022 the director of MQ was appointed as the chairman of the board of directors of the National Institute of Mental Health and Child Health Hospital Infection Management; in 2023 he was appointed as the sixth editor and youth editor of the Chinese Hospital Infectionology Journal. The Ministry of Disease Prevention has a leading level of hospital infection management, in 2017 became the relying unit of the Inner Mongolia Regional Hospital Quality Control Centre, established the Inner Mongolia Regional Infection Management Information Platform; in 2021 established the Inner Mongolia Regional Hospital Infection Management Training Base.
