The Department of Rheumatology and Immunology is one of the region's earliest and largest rheumatology specialties, with 100 beds and integrated clinical, teaching, and research services. It treats systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic sclerosis, dermatomyositis, Sjögren syndrome, gout, spondyloarthritis, vasculitis, and other complex or critical immune-mediated diseases. Its specialist laboratory can perform more than 80 autoantibody tests.
