Intensive Care Department

The Department of Critical Medicine at Peking City Hospital was established in 1994, with a National Clinical Focus, a Beijing City Clinical Focus, and a National Health Council capacity building and continuing education Neurological Development and Training Base. Currently, there are 71 open beds, over 4,000 patients treated annually, and 30 existing doctors, including one professor, six chief physicians, four associate professors, five deputy chief physicians, 11 primary care physicians, eight hospital doctors, 20 doctoral students, nine masters. The combined hospital's core features include the rescue of patients with neurological disabilities and related research, leading the country in emergency care for patients with neurological disabilities.
