Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Affiliated to Capital Medical University

Since its establishment in 1980 by Academician Wang Zhongcheng, the Neuroimaging Center of Beijing Tiantan Hospital has become a modern department with strong technical strength, distinctive medical features and outstanding academic achievements through the solid accumulation of the older generation of radiologists Song Zunwu and Lu Rongqing and other directors, especially under the leadership of Professors Dai Jianping and Gao Peiyi, and through the unremitting efforts of colleagues in the general department for nearly 40 years.

In 1998, it was approved as a doctoral degree authorized discipline and a postdoctoral mobile station. It is currently the largest imaging center in my country specializing in neuroimaging research and diagnosis and treatment, and one of the national key disciplines. It is also a clinical drug trial base and a resident training base.

The Neuroimaging Center is rich in talents and has a reasonable knowledge level. It currently has 2 doctoral supervisors, 5 master supervisors, 27 PhDs, and 5 masters;

There are 9 chief physicians, 8 deputy chief physicians, 3 professors, 8 associate professors, and 18 attending physicians;

There are 4 deputy chief technicians and 5 chief technicians.

The neuroimaging center is well-equipped with advanced imaging equipment, including 6 MRs (including 1.5T1), 6 CTs, 9 DRs, and computer imaging workstations. It has also built an in-hospital networked digital image transmission and storage system (PACS), which can examine multiple systems and parts of the body, and provide early and correct diagnosis of diseases.

In 2018, Beijing Tiantan Hospital moved to its new location on the South Fourth Ring Road. At the same time, the Neuroimaging Center established a new leadership team.

Under the leadership of Directors Liu Yaou, Ma Jun, and Zhou Jian, all colleagues in the Neuroimaging Center will work together to build a nationally ranked neuroimaging department, a leading comprehensive neuroimaging center in the country, and an internationally renowned brand department with the purpose of serving patients, professional technology as the cornerstone, and scientific and technological innovation as the goal.

The new Temple of Heaven is about to usher in a new era, and the new radiation is about to start a new journey.
