Psychology Department

The Department of Psychological Counseling at Peking Palace Hospital, which is part of the Neuropsychology and Clinical Psychology/Sleep Center, was China's first cross-border integrated department that integrates neuroscience-psychiatry-psychology-sleep medicine, was the first professional medical team to introduce advanced ideas from abroad, and has developed a range of clinical projects based on the concept of brain science. A team of interdisciplinary doctors led by Professor Wang Chun-shee has extensive clinical experience in mental, psychological, emotional, cognitive, and sleep disorder disorders associated with cerebral vascular disease, Parkinson's disease, or other neurological conditions, while also absorbing domestic and foreign ideas in several areas including chronic headache management, sleep medicine, women's mental health and exercise medicine, as the basis for drug therapy. It provides non-drug treatments such as magnetic stimulation, biofeedback, advocates for mindfulness meditation, cognitive behavioral therapy, assists with art therapy, exercise therapy, and provides a systematic, humanised, scientifically sound health management platform for patients with chronic neurological system disorders, mental illness, and physical disabilities.
