The Respiratory and Pulmonary Vascular Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Center (Pulmonary Vascular Disease Center) of Fuwai Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences was established in 1972. It was formerly known as: Cor pulmonary Disease Research Laboratory and Cardiopulmonary Circulation Research Laboratory.

The Respiratory and Pulmonary Vascular Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Center is a clinical diagnosis and treatment center directly under the leadership of the hospital in the field of cardiovascular internal medicine. It has a pulmonary vascular disease specialist clinic and a specialist ward (ward 50A).

Currently, there are 1 specially appointed famous expert, 4 professors (chief physicians), 2 associate professors (deputy chief physicians), and 1 chief secretary of the center, including 3 doctoral supervisors and 2 master's supervisors.
