Pharmacy Department

The Pharmacy Department of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, a department of pharmaceutical medicine at an external hospital, is responsible for all aspects of the administration of the supply of medicines and agents throughout the school; preparation of drugs, clinical pharmacology, pharmaceutical experimentation, pharmacy teaching and drug administration.The pharmacy department has fifty-three full-time employees, three deputy directors pharmacists, nineteen chief pharmacists; pharmaceutical technicians account for 98.11% of the workforce. In recent years, the pharmacy department has established a sound system of regulations and standard operating procedures; various interventions have been taken to improve service quality, strengthen drug management, provide patient safety, timely services. At the same time, with a stronger level of family management, it is convenient to take medication for hospitalized patients and safe medication for hospitalized patients, enable the call system for pharmacy calls, use the main hospital pharmacy for drug delivery services, use automatic dispensing machines. The door-to-door pharmacy call system not only facilitates effective hospital management of patients taking medication, reduces the pain of patients waiting in line for long periods of time to take medication, provides a more comfortable and civilized medical environment for patients; at the same time, improves the response rate of hospital services, improves the efficiency of pharmacists.
