Department name: Blood transfusion department Development course: Since the establishment of China-Japan Friendly Hospital, the blood transfusion department has adhered to safe, accurate, timely and effective quality principles, continuously strengthening the scientificalisation, institutionalisation, standardization, informatization, humanized construction of blood transfusions, gradually developing into a medical unit that integrates testing, blood supply, teaching and research. In 1984, the Department of Testing established a blood pool, in 2001 it was formally renamed the Department of Transfusion.In 2011, it moved to the operating room, expanding its area by over 300 square meters.It undertook various medical tasks such as storing blood products, testing, bleeding, clinical transfusion consultation and diagnosis, monitoring blood transfusions and other adverse reactions. In 2014, the Beijing Municipal Health and Safety Commission approved it as a training base for blood transfusion technicians in Beijing, receiving job training for Beijing City Blood Transfusion Technicians.In December 2019, the blood transfusion department was successfully accredited by the International Standardization Organization (ISO) 15189 International Medical Laboratory through its medical laboratories, which are recognized by the National Accreditation Commission.
