On the basis of inheriting the clinical experience of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of chronic kidney disease in my country, combined with the results of modern medical research, we will discover and explore effective traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of chronic kidney disease. The first method of replenishing qi, softening the liver, activating blood and unblocking collaterals to treat diabetic nephropathy. In accordance with international standard evidence-based medicine methods, it is confirmed that the method of "tonifying kidneys, nourishing yin, removing blood stasis and unblocking collaterals" (Tangshen Recipe) can reduce overt proteinuria in diabetic nephropathy and improve kidney function. Its efficacy is significantly better than using ACEI/ARB drugs alone. This clinical research result has been published in international journals and is one of the highest evidence-based medical evidences in the field of Chinese medicine treatment of diabetic nephropathy so far. Relevant research results have been included in the guidelines of the Diabetes Alliance of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The first method of replenishing qi and soothing the liver, promoting blood circulation and diuresis to treat chronic nephritis and proteinuria, and developed Chaihuang Yishen Granules, which obtained clinical approval issued by the State Food and Drug Administration. He has presided over 24 national-level projects, 15 provincial and ministerial-level projects, and many other horizontal projects. He has received cumulative funding of more than 40 million yuan in relevant research funding and published more than 200 Chinese papers and more than 60 SCI papers. He wrote the monograph "Basic and Clinical Research on Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in Diabetic Nephropathy" and won the first prize for academic works from the Chinese Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Relevant research results have won 3 first prizes and 5 second prizes in provincial and ministerial science and technology awards. In 2016, he won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award. ② Obesity is the dominant disease in the department. Obesity is the root cause of many diseases, affecting multiple systems of the body, especially abdominal obesity. Our department has always paid attention to obesity as a key disease and regarded obesity as the top priority in the prevention and treatment of diabetes. It treats obesity from the point of view of virtual obesity and actual obesity. In the past two years, relying on the advantages of the hospital's multidisciplinary weight loss alliance platform, we have given full play to the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of obesity. Based on the classification and treatment of "deficiency and excess fat", we develop individualized TCM treatment plans for obese patients; use a variety of TCM treatment methods, including TCM decoctions, pills, auricular acupuncture, acupuncture, etc., to give full play to the multi-target and multi-effect comprehensive treatment characteristics of TCM;Cooperate with multiple disciplines such as the nutrition department's healthy nutritional dietary guidance and the rehabilitation department's scientific exercise guidance to form mutual assistance and synergy to help patients better accept and adhere to the weight loss plan; improve the patient's clinical discomfort symptoms, slowly improve the patient's internal environment and physique, and enhance the patient's own adjustment ability, thereby achieving the effect of consolidating the patient's weight loss effect in the long term. At present, agreed prescriptions for puffiness and obesity have been formed: Jia Jie No. 1 and Dai Zong No. 1, which have achieved good clinical efficacy, and are preparing to carry out the next step of mechanism exploration research and in-hospital preparation development. ③ Gynecological endocrinology, the department’s dominant disease, combines modern medical examinations with comprehensive traditional Chinese medicine treatment. Treatment includes menstrual cramps caused by ovarian dysfunction (such as polycystic ovary syndrome, ovulation disorder, luteal insufficiency), hypothalamus, pituitary gland, and ovarian dysfunction (such as excessive prolactin). Menstrual disorders, ovulation disorders, infertility; benign breast diseases such as breast hyperplasia and breast masses related to ovarian endocrine; premenstrual stress syndrome, menopausal syndrome; and ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, adenomyosis, endometriosis and other diseases related to ovarian endocrine.④Thyroid disease Thyroid diseases are highly prevalent in modern times, among which thyroid dysfunction, autoimmune thyroiditis, and thyroid nodules are more common. Causes of disease include genetics, stress, inflammation, infection, diet, medications, toxins, and more. In view of the above-mentioned multiple links, traditional Chinese medicine has unique advantages in treating thyroid diseases. Our department combines modern testing and examination methods, and on the basis of standardized diagnosis and treatment of Western medicine, the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine for syndrome differentiation and treatment can reduce the patient's autoimmune response, improve thyroid function, reduce the dosage of Western medicine, some nodules can be seen to shrink, and the adverse reactions are small. While improving the patient's physical and chemical examination indicators, it can significantly improve the patient's quality of life, and has good curative effect. The department has launched a thyroid TCM specialty clinic. The treatment philosophy of the department: attaches great importance to prevention before disease occurs, adopts individualized lifestyle guidance and TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment, improves the abnormal physique of patients with obesity, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and metabolic syndrome, and prevents the occurrence of diabetes. For patients who are already ill and have no complications from diabetes, they should rationally use drugs such as lowering blood sugar, lowering blood pressure, regulating lipids, activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis, and controlling various indicators to meet the standards; cooperate with traditional Chinese medicine intervention and treatment to prevent and delay the occurrence of complications.Patients with diabetic complications can cooperate with a series of traditional Chinese medicine oral and external treatments (medicated baths, enemas, etc.) to delay the development of complications, reduce systemic damage, and improve the patient's quality of life. At the same time as drug treatment, patients are given health guidance from the aspects of fitness and sports, medicinal diet, psychological adjustment and lifestyle adjustment, so that patients can learn to adopt a healthy lifestyle and benefit from it throughout their lives. [Teaching situation of the department] The department undertook the "Yinhuihe Famous Old Chinese Medicine Practitioner Studio" project of the "3+3" project of the Beijing Municipal Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine to inherit the fire of traditional Chinese medicine, and successfully completed the academic inheritance task of traditional Chinese medicine and won the "Beijing Traditional Chinese Medicine Fire Inheritance Contribution Award".
