The plastic surgery department was founded in 1984. It is the earliest important department established in the China-Japan Hospital and the earliest plastic and cosmetic surgery department in China. After more than 30 years of development, the hospital enjoys a high reputation both at home and abroad in many aspects of medical teaching and research, and has strong technical strength and a large number of outstanding senior professionals. At present, the director of the department is Professor Wang Chengyuan. The department has 2 chief physicians (Wang Chengyuan and Caijie), 6 deputy chief physicians (Lu Hui, Zeng Gao, Hu Xiaogen, Ren Chong, Huang Wengang, Zhuang Li, Ma Li), and 6 attending physicians (Qi Huijie, Qi Yanwen, Chen Bo, Zhou Yang, Sun Cheng, Chen Jian). The department is a member unit of the Microsurgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and the Plastic Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association. The executive director unit of China Plastic Surgery Association, with 1 executive director of the General Association and 3 branch vice presidents.
