The Department of Nephrology was established in October 1984 and is a well-known nephrology specialty in my country. The department currently has 55 ward beds, about 70,000 specialist outpatient visits per year, more than 110 various blood purification equipment in the blood purification center, peritoneal dialysis center, kidney critical care unit (KICU), renal biopsy and renal pathology diagnostic room, etc. It has complete professional settings and advanced instruments and equipment. He concurrently serves as the vice chairman of the Nephrology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, the chairman of the Urology and Blood Purification Special Committee of the Chinese Medical Education Association, the Standing Committee of the Nephrology Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, the vice chairman of the Nephrology Society of the Beijing Medical Association, the chairman of the Blood Purification Society of the Beijing Medical Association, and the deputy chairman of the Kidney Disease Special Committee of the Beijing Society of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine. Medical features: 1. Diagnosis and treatment of various chronic glomerulonephritisIt is a well-known specialty in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic nephritis in my country. It treats more than 50,000 chronic nephritis patients from all over the country every year. It uses a variety of methods to perform renal biopsy. Professor Zou Wanzhong, an authoritative Chinese pathologist, is hired to be responsible for the pathological diagnosis and accuracy of kidney biopsy. It has a chronic nephritis diagnosis and treatment team with rich clinical experience and therapeutic effects in IgA nephropathy, membranous nephropathy, hepatitis B virus-related nephritis, lupus nephritis and small vessel vasculitis. 2. Diagnosis and treatment of diabetic nephropathy and hypertensive renal damage. A comprehensive diagnosis and treatment team for diabetic nephropathy and hypertensive renal damage and a multidisciplinary consultation center have been established. Patients diagnosed and treated in the center can receive integrated diagnosis and treatment from experts in nephrology, cardiology, endocrinology, neurology, nutrition and other disciplines, as well as the treatment effect of kidney disease and the prevention and treatment of complications. 3. The leading blood purification center in the country is the earliest large-scale blood purification center established in my country. It has more than 110 sets of various advanced blood purification equipment, and its medical and nursing standards are at the leading level in the country. There are more than 150 patients with hemodialysis for more than 10 years, and various blood purification treatments such as hemofiltration, hemodiafiltration and hemoperfusion can be carried out.For secondary hyperparathyroidism, a complication of long-term dialysis, we have a specialized outpatient clinic that can use a variety of treatment methods such as drugs, ultrasound-guided radiofrequency ablation, and surgery, which is at the leading level in the country. 4. Able to complete various complex vascular access surgeries. We have an experienced team of vascular access physicians who work closely with the vascular surgery department of our hospital to complete a large number of complex hemodialysis accesses every year, including autologous arteriovenous fistulas, artificial vascular arteriovenous fistulas, and long-term hemodialysis catheters. In particular, we have a leading professional advantage in the surgery and interventional treatment of complex and difficult vascular access, so as to ensure the smooth flow of the "lifeline" of dialysis patients. 5. The leading critical kidney failure treatment center (KICU) in ChinaWe are the first to establish a critical renal failure treatment unit (KICU) in China, with a team of full-time KICU doctors and CRRT nurses, 15 bedside blood purification machines, and a monthly treatment capacity of more than 300 patients. It has strong capabilities in plasma exchange, immunoadsorption, leukocyte adsorption, bilirubin adsorption and other treatments, and is widely used in the treatment of critically ill kidney disease, autoimmune diseases, neurological diseases, hematological diseases and other diseases. It is a professional team with rich experience in bedside blood purification treatment in my country. 6. The high-level peritoneal dialysis center is one of the earliest units to carry out peritoneal dialysis in China. It has professional peritoneal dialysis catheter insertion doctors and peritoneal dialysis medical management teams. Currently, it has nearly 80 long-term peritoneal dialysis patients. It regularly conducts standardized peritoneal dialysis patient training, dialysis adequacy and assessment and prevention of complications. The infection rate and withdrawal rate of long-term peritoneal dialysis patients are at the domestic advanced level. 7. Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Treatment for Chronic Kidney DiseaseWe have a chronic kidney disease integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment team, with 3 clinically experienced integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine diagnosis and treatment experts. We combine traditional Chinese medicine with modern Western medicine and draw on each other's strengths. We provide individualized integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment based on the cause, pathology, staging, traditional Chinese medicine symptoms and comorbidities of chronic kidney disease.
