Oncology Department

China-Japan Friendship Hospital

The Department of Radiation Oncology of China-Japan Hospital was founded in 1985, under the leadership of Professor Zhong Yubin, a famous expert in radiation oncology in my country. It is the earliest independent radiotherapy professional department among general hospitals in my country. Radiation oncology experts Fan Zhaosheng, Zhou Wei, Tang Jintian, Liu Pifu, Wang Jiying, etc. have successively served as department directors, deputy directors or heads. The current department director is chief physician Zhu Guangying, who is also the executive deputy director of the Lung Cancer Center of China-Japan Friendship Hospital. Professor and doctoral supervisor at Peking University, the first director of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Peking University Health Science Center, and deputy director of the Department of Oncology at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. His featured work includes differential diagnosis of pulmonary nodules, precision radiotherapy for early lung cancer, precision radiotherapy combined with targeting for intermediate and advanced lung cancer, and immunotherapy. After more than 30 years of construction and development, the department has established a complete radiation oncology professional system and has a complete professional team composed of doctors, technicians, physicists, and nurses to provide first-class professional services to tumor patients. It has taken the lead in developing CT positioning technology, three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy technology, isocenter radiotherapy technology, multi-leaf grating conformal radiotherapy technology, intraoperative radiotherapy technology, ultrasound-assisted positioning technology, deep hyperthermia technology, stereotactic radiotherapy technology, etc. in China. It currently has the leading domestic tomotherapy (TOMO T herapy) technology and has rich experience in the precise protection of the heart, lungs, liver and intestines of lung and abdominal tumors, while taking into account the efficacy and safety of tumor treatment for patients. Our hospital is introducing internationally advanced proton radiotherapy technology. The department is currently the chairman unit of the Precision Radiotherapy Branch of the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering and the chairman unit of the Radiotherapy Branch of the Beijing Anti-Cancer Association, the deputy director unit of the Radiotherapy Oncology Physician Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, the chairman unit of the Lung Cancer Expert Committee of the National Center for Telemedicine and Internet Medicine, the deputy director unit of the National Radiotherapy Quality Control Center, the joint editor-in-chief of the first and second editions of the national standardized training textbook "Radiation Oncology" for residents, and the editor-in-chief of the National Ministry of Education textbook "Radiation Oncology".The department is currently undertaking projects such as the National Ministry of Science and Technology projects: Multi-center, open clinical research on simultaneous stereotactic body radiotherapy combined with immune checkpoint inhibitors in the treatment of early-stage non-small cell lung cancer (2018YFC1313202: Zhu Guangying); China-Japan Friendship Hospital University of Chemical Technology Joint Fund 1 Accurate detection of lung cancer driver genes based on deep learning and second-generation sequencing data (PYBZ1834 Gao Liwei); 2 Electrochemiluminescence sensor detection Application of CA215 in the diagnosis of early lung cancer (PYBZ1821 Xiong Ying). China-Japan Friendship Hospital Project: 1 Research on the application of miR-124 and miR-137 expression in early screening, prognosis judgment and recurrence detection of patients with non-small cell lung cancer (2016-2-QN-12 Gao Liwei) Research on the mechanism of LncRNA PCNA-AS1 regulating radiotherapy resistance in non-small cell lung cancer (2018-2-QN-30 Teng Feng) Department is responsible for teaching the eight-year, master's and doctoral students of Peking University Health Science Center, and accepts radiation oncology clinicians, physicists, and technicians for further study. He has completed the national continuing education project "Multidisciplinary Summit Forum on Pulmonary Nodules and Lung Cancer" for three consecutive years. The policy of department management is "two purposes", that is: for patients and for employees; the general practice unites with the inclusive spirit of "nothing is impossible" in the Analects, and jointly creates a good atmosphere in which "doctors serve patients, and general practice supports doctors". The ancient motto of "learning is not solid" strictly requires lifelong learning and continuous progress, and works together to realize the dream of renaissance of the radiation oncology department in China and Japan.
