Cardiac Department

The department of cardiology is a priority department of the National Health and Medical Council and the Hospital of China.Founded in 1984, the department was one of the earliest to conduct coronary artery imaging and right-sided cardiac tube examination in the country, and is one of the earliest to conduct interventional therapy in Beijing and even nationwide. Over the past 30 years, under the leadership of former directors in Kyung-ri, Huangxiang, Kuan Nan, Wang Yong, and Kim Jong-il, the department has grown steadily to a national level in medical, teaching, and research. There are 112 beds, more than 4,000 hospitalized patients annually, and over 3,000 surgical procedures performed annually. The staff of the classroom consists of: Head of the classroom is Kim Jong-un, Deputy Head of the classroom is Son Jie Red, Jin Jian, with extensive clinical, research, teaching and management experience.The head nurses are Shombak, Wang Yi and Gatsui, 62 nurses.The classroom has 7 current Head Doctors, 12 Deputy Head Doctors, 10 Principal Doctors, 9 Residential Doctors, 14 Technicians. 70% of PhDs are in the doctoral program.Professor Kim Jong-un, head of the department, is a nationally recognized expert on coronary heart disease intervention therapy.
