Department Introduction The Department of Transfusion at Peking University Cancer Hospital is a hospital medical department, its predecessor being the specialized group of laboratory blood banks established when it was founded in 1995;; to accommodate the rapid development of hospitals and the need for building disciplines, the Department was formally established as an independent department in 2005, with the establishment of ACO. The department is committed to providing safe, timely and qualified blood products for all clinical surgery, treatment and emergency services, building a complete clinical blood quality management system, promoting scientifically sound use of blood, and developing relevant blood therapy technologies.
