Laboratory Department

The Department of Surgery at Peking University Cancer Hospital was formed in 1976, is a modern testing center that has developed based on the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.The department currently employs 52 people, including 47 technical specialists, 5 medical assistants.There are currently 2 post-secondary positions, 3 secondary senior positions, 24 intermediate positions, 4 doctoral degrees, 11 master's degrees. The Department of Testing consists of five sub-specialist laboratories comprised of the Clinical Biochemistry Room, the Clinical Immunology Room, the Clinical and Blood Room, the Clinical Microbiology Room and the Clinical Molecular Diagnosis Room, which have conducted a total of 228 tests with a workload of over 1 million units per year. The Department of Testing is committed to the goal of patient-centered, quality assurance, timely and accurate test results for patients, and scientific laboratory basis for clinical trials.
