Founded in 1995, Concomic is the nation's first oncology clinic specializing in psychosocial oncology, and has built the largest, most comprehensive leadership team in the field of oncological psychology. Faculty director Donlieri is a pioneer in domestic psychosocial oncology, as a leader in the discipline she led the establishment of the China Anti-Cancer Association's Committee for Oncological Psychology and the Beijing Anti-Cancer Association's Committee for Oncological Psychology, currently serving as the executive committee of two associations. For 30 years, the Department of Rehabilitation and Neurosurgery, with a focus on universal care, has been developing domestic psychosocial oncology as its own responsibility, continuously integrating psychosocial care into the clinical practice of cancer treatment, particularly in supporting, mitigating and calming cancer treatment. It has become the most authoritative clinical, teaching, and research-integrated psycho-social oncology department and training base in the country, and was among the first to be selected for the Human Development Demonstration Department of Beijing City Hospital.
