The Beijing University Cancer Hospital Intervention Therapy Department was established in 1996, is the first comprehensive cancer intervention center in China with an outpatient, hospital, integrated medical center, integrated teaching and research center, a standardized training base for Peking University specialists, a National Health Commission capacity building and continuing education center, the first interventions medical improvement base, and a tumor intervention center. The first national radiation and therapeutic medical research center, the China Medical Association (CMA), is a unit of the National Heart Association MDT. The Chinese Association for Cancer Intervention is the professional committee of the board of directors of the Oncology Intervention Committee, the China Association for Cancer Intervention is the chairman of the board of directors of the Integrated Care Professional Committee, the Beijing Association of Doctors Interventionists.
