Nephrology Department

The Department of Nephrology at Beijing Anzhen Hospital, Capital Medical University, was established in January 2010. The department currently includes outpatient clinics, inpatient wards, hemodialysis unit, peritoneal dialysis unit, an independent renal pathology laboratory, and a nephrology research laboratory. Led by Director Cheng Hong, a distinctive medical team has been formed, and it has been approved as a doctoral training site for Capital Medical University. The department has over 60 staff members including physicians, nurses, and technicians.
Most physicians hold doctoral degrees and have overseas study experience. Among the 20 physicians (9 at associate chief physician level or above), 12 have doctoral degrees, and 5 have overseas study experience.
