Oncology Department

The Inner Oncology Department of the People's Hospital of the Autonomous Region of Inner Mongolia was established in 1965, is the first oncological department in Mongolia, and after more than half a century of generations of collaborative efforts, today's oncology has become a specialized discipline for the regulation of clinical, teaching, scientific research and synchronous development of diagnostic techniques. After years of development, the clinic has a professional medical care team with technical expertise, improved professional ladder construction, and become the most professional advantageous cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment center in the region. At the same time, the MDT team has been established, and the department is actively promoting the model of multi-disciplinary federated oncology clinical treatment, forming a comprehensive system of clinical diagnosis that features significantly different types of oncological surgery, oncologic internal medicine, oncological radiation therapy, oncological immunotherapy, oncological pain management, and other features. In addition, the Department of Health has established the first National Health Ministry's "Cancer Standardization Therapy" demonstration clinics and has set up a training base for neuronal cancer regulation, popularizing knowledge about cancer treatment, benefiting large-scale cancer patients.By 2022, the Department will be launching a "Daytime Clinic", improving the effectiveness of clinical therapy while reducing patient care costs.
