Thyroid Department

Thyroid, breast, hernia, and vascular surgery are departments with fine traditions accumulated over decades. Our department has inherited the excellent style of the older generation of experts. Under the leadership of the current department director, we have united, worked hard, and achieved fruitful results in a down-to-earth manner. Chief Physician Deligertu, director of the department, is a master's tutor and graduated from Peking University School of Medicine in 1982. He studied at the Department of Surgery at Kanazawa University in Japan and the University of Tokyo in Japan. He is currently the deputy chairman of the seventh committee of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Medical Association’s Surgery Branch, the seventh committee of the general surgery branch of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Medical Association, and the deputy chairman of the first committee of the clinical teaching branch of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Medical Association. Special editorial board member of "Chinese Journal of Hernia and Abdominal Wall Surgery (Electronic Edition)" and editorial board member of the 5th "Journal of Inner Mongolia Medical Association". The deputy director of the department, chief physician Ren Buyuan, serves as the deputy chairman of the second committee of the Vascular Surgery Branch of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Medical Association. Our department currently has 5 chief physicians and 5 staff with master's degrees. 2 deputy chief nurses. 1 supervisor for master students. Since 2003, the undergraduate department has become the training center for the master's degree in surgery of Inner Mongolia Medical College. A total of 10 master's degree students have been trained.Among them, 6 have graduated and 4 are currently studying. Since the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Hospital became the clinical teaching hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical College, our department has undertaken undergraduate teaching tasks and internship and internship tasks. It has trained a large number of undergraduate medical talents for Inner Mongolia Medical College. Since 2008, it has been rated as an advanced department with outstanding contributions by the hospital for three consecutive years. The nursing team in our department has won the first and second prizes in the nurse technology competition in the past three years. The winner of the Nursing Knowledge Competition Award, and the first prize in the national trustworthy hospital quality nursing competition. During the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake rescue and relief, the medical nursing team dispatched by our department won the titles of Advanced Group and Advanced Individual in the Autonomous Region. In terms of business, we have completed difficult surgeries such as radical thyroid cancer surgery, neck lymph node dissection, recurrent laryngeal nerve ligation and release, and parathyroid adenoma removal. In terms of breast cancer, we have completed difficult surgeries such as modified radical mastectomy and breast-conserving surgery for breast cancer. Hernia surgery is at the leading level in the autonomous region. In the past two years, two hernia surgery forums in western Inner Mongolia have been held in our hospital. Laparoscopic hernia repair, preperitoneal space hernia repair, and tension-free giant incisional hernia repair have been completed.In terms of blood vessels, he has completed post-arterial embolization thrombectomy, aneurysm resection, arterial stenosis and occlusion bypass surgery, inferior vena cava filter implantation, catheter thrombolysis, arteriovenous fistula, non-surgical treatment of deep vein thrombosis, etc. Our department has established extensive horizontal connections and cooperative relationships with advanced departments such as the Head and Neck Surgery Department of the Cancer Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, the Thyroid, Breast and Hernia Surgery Department of Chaoyang Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University, the Hernia Surgery Department of Beijing Millennium Monument Hospital, the Vascular Surgery Department of Peking Union Medical College Hospital, the Head and Neck Surgery Department of the Beijing Armed Police General Hospital, and the Vascular and Hernia Surgery Department of the Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University. Professors and experts from these cooperative units are often invited to our department for lectures and surgical demonstrations. Our department also often sends medical nurses to the above-mentioned units for further training, which will further improve the technical level and service level of our department. We are moving forward to new heights in the spirit of giving full play to our wisdom, gathering our strength, relieving patients' pain, and enthusiastically serving the public.
