Psychiatry Department

The Department of Psychiatry at the People's Hospital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is a comprehensive clinical department that integrates medical, teaching and research.The department was established in 1989, and is the first in the Western Region to conduct related activities in the country's comprehensive hospital.The department has 7 employees, including 1 doctoral student, 4 masters; more than 40 part-time academic positions, strong academic strength. Mental health clinics offer full-time general, specialist and sleep disorder outpatients, children's and adolescent mental disorders outpatients, adolescents learning difficulties outpatients, counseling and therapy outpatients, psychological testing, etc. Clinical diseases include common mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, depression, anxiety, and also undertake admission, entry into employment, and foreign physical examination duties.  Equipment includes: magnetic stimulation therapists, biofeedbackers, psychological assessment systems, virtual reality hypnosis devices, speech-release systems, music relaxers, etc.  Annual diagnostic capacity is about 21,000 people, with a diagnosis of more than 10,000 people. Highlighting the technological highlights, conducting over a hundred psychological tests and more than twenty therapies, including virtual reality hypnosis therapy, multi-phase personality classification and countermeasures for the classroom.
