Infectious Disease Department

Since its establishment, the Department of Infectious Diseases of the People's Hospital of the Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region has been dedicated to the diagnosis of all kinds of liver diseases, infectious diseases and inflammatory diseases for unknown reasons, treatment of acute-crisis infections, and extensive experience in the field. There are 55 medical staff, 18 doctors, 37 nurses, including 11 senior officials, 14 postgraduate students, and 1 postgraduate instructor.Since its inception, the department has successfully dealt with major epidemics such as metastases, coronavirus, and other diseases, under the leadership of professor Anji Red, who is the head of the department.The department has been carrying out new technology activities such as artificial liver blood purification. In terms of research and teaching, the faculty is responsible for a number of autonomous level, national-level subjects and continuing medical education projects. It has published more than 50 papers on six subjects, holds two patents. It is the teaching base of the Medical University of Inner Mongolia, the Medical College of Pakhtunkhwa, and is the standardised training base for hospital physicians.
