Dermatology Department

Under the leadership of academic leader Professor Jin Hongzhong, the department has continuously grown in recent years and has made outstanding achievements in medical treatment, teaching, scientific research and other aspects. It has grown into a multiple diagnosis and treatment center with autoimmune bullous disease, psoriasis, sexually transmitted diseases, laser cosmetic treatment, skin tissue pathology diagnosis, etc., covering large-scale disciplines in emergency, wards and laboratories. Physicians are regularly sent to the Macau Island Branch to work, and it has established a medical consortium with Beijing Sixth Hospital. The Department of Dermatology actively carries out a number of new diagnosis and treatment projects, such as dermoscopy, skin ultrasound, confocal laser microscopy diagnosis, dermatological surgery Mohs microscopy surgery, minimally invasive armpit odor surgery, photodynamic treatment of port wine stains, etc. In addition, with the Department of Dermatology as the initiating department, an MDT team for malignant skin tumors/melanoma and cutaneous lymphoma has been established, dedicated to formulating the most advanced and comprehensive treatment plans for patients with skin tumors. Over the years, the Department of Dermatology has continued the fine tradition of weekly three-level ward rounds and discussion of difficult cases by the department director, providing efficient and accurate diagnosis and treatment for difficult and severe patients from all over the country. The China Rare Disease Alliance Skin Rare Disease Professional Committee was established. From 2024, it will serve as the presiding committee unit of the Beijing Dermatology Professional Base for the Standardized Training of Resident Physicians.Ranked third in the STEM specialty rankings of Chinese hospitals for four consecutive years from 2021 to 2024.
