Geriatrics Department

With the support of a Chinese Medical Board (CMB) fund, Beijing Collegiate Hospital has since 2006 established a program of collaboration with the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Aging Medicine at Johns Hopkins Medical School in the United States, established an old age demonstration hospital in 2007 to practice and promote the concept of modern aging medicine.The hospital has previously sent 15 nurses to Johns Hopkins University in San Francisco, California, Denton, Chicago, RUSH University, London Baycrest Senior Medical Center, and other locations for advanced medical-related training, forming a multidisciplinary team that integrates clinical and nursing knowledge into its workforce.The hospital has developed a multidisciplinary team of senior physicians, rehabilitation, rehabilitation, psychiatry, and psychiatry professionals; and has conducted interdisciplinary evaluations and clinical trials within the department; and has led to the creation of a multidisciplinary team of clinicians who have extensive clinical and nursing expertise.
