Youth myocardial infarction refers to acute myocardial infarction occurring in young people under the age of 40. More than 90% of patients have their first onset between the ages of 31 and 40, with a higher incidence in males than females. The vast majority of patients have no history of angina before the onset, but present with typical ischemic chest pain at the time of onset. The acute phase and long-term mortality rates of youth myocardial infarction are relatively low, and after discharge, the condition stabilizes and work capacity can be restored.
