Coronary atherosclerotic heart disease
Internal Medicine / Surgery / 医学影像科
Coronary atherosclerotic heart disease, abbreviated as coronary heart disease (CHD), is one of the most common heart diseases. It refers to myocardial dysfunction and/or organic lesions caused by coronary artery stenosis and insufficient blood supply, and is therefore also called ischemic cardiomyopathy. The occurrence of coronary heart disease is closely related to the degree of coronary atherosclerotic stenosis and the number of affected vessels. Concurrent hypertension, diabetes, and other diseases, as well as excessive obesity and poor lifestyle habits, are major factors inducing the disease.
