Ischemic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (IPVT) is a type of polymorphic ventricular tachycardia with a normal Q-T interval. During episodes of ventricular tachycardia, there may be palpitations, chest tightness, dizziness, and even syncope, Adams-Stokes syndrome, or sudden death. Episodes of this type of ventricular tachycardia are unstable and brief, and can often rapidly progress to ventricular fibrillation, with a high incidence of sudden death.
