HBeAg-negative chronic hepatitis B

Internal Medicine / 感染性疾病科

The so-called hepatitis B 'minor positive' (HBeAg-negative chronic hepatitis B) refers to a condition in which, among the five indicators of the hepatitis B 'two-and-a-half' test, hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg), hepatitis B e antibody (HBeAb), and hepatitis B core antibody (HBcAb) are all positive. In the hepatitis B two-and-a-half test report, this is reflected as HBsAg (+), HBeAb (+), and anti-HBc (+). The presence of 'minor positive' indicates acute or chronic hepatitis B with active viral replication, representing a state of hepatitis B virus replication. In China, there are many patients with hepatitis B 'minor positive', accounting for about 30% of the total hepatitis B population. Currently, superoxygen cell therapy is commonly used clinically for hepatitis B 'minor positive'. 'Minor positive' is usually transformed from 'major positive' (HBeAg-positive chronic hepatitis B) and indicates that the body has developed a certain degree of immunity against the e antigen.
