Hepatic hamartoma is a rare congenital tumor-like malformation of the liver. In essence, hepatic hamartoma is a dysembryoplastic lesion with tumor characteristics. From a surgical perspective, this disease is still classified as a benign liver tumor. Its pathological features are characterized by hepatocytes as the main component, containing bile ducts, blood vessels, and connective tissue arranged in a disordered manner within otherwise normal liver tissue, along with abundant connective tissue proliferation.
