reflux nephropathy

Reflux nephropathy refers to vesicoureteral reflux and intrarenal reflux caused by certain factors, leading to renal scar formation, which may eventually progress to end-stage kidney disease and uremia. Treatment includes medical and surgical therapy. Medical treatment adopts comprehensive symptomatic measures to delay the onset of uremia. Once uremia occurs, blood purification treatment should be performed, and kidney transplantation may also be considered.
