Acute leukemia (AL) is a malignant clonal disease of hematopoietic stem cells. At onset, abnormal blast cells and immature cells in the bone marrow proliferate massively and suppress normal hematopoiesis, extensively infiltrating organs such as the liver, spleen, and lymph nodes. Manifestations include anemia, bleeding, infection, and infiltration. Without special treatment, the average survival time of acute leukemia is only about 3 months, and in shorter cases, death may occur even a few days after diagnosis. With modern treatment, many patients have achieved remission and even long-term survival.
